This weeks story is very short. I have been working hard to complete The Sibling novel so have had little time to work on other stories and projects.
But please do not fear, this part is a build up to something more extensive next week! I felt this post fitting to lead into something much more longer and juicier next week.
If you haven’t already, I’d advise to read the last few Sunday entries as is all part of one overall story.
I will also have an update soon on my novel so please keep an eye out for that. But for now, please enjoy Serial Sunday!
The branches of the tree whipped hard against Evie’s window. Rain fell and the wind picked up as the weather took a turn for the worse. It did not deter Staff though.
His six foot five inch muscular frame sat on the bonnet of his 1960 Cadillac convertible with his arms folded and hair slicked back from the rain. Staff had the perfect view of the window despite the tall tree being close by. A silhouette appeared in the glass of a slim female frame and soon came in to full focus. Staff’s heart stopped. She seemed so fragile and delicate. It was impossible that it would be her. Looks were definitely deceiving.
Staff removed a photograph of the girl from his pocket and studied it closer, despite the pouring rain. The figure, face and hair matched up. It was strange how someone so delicate had been chosen. But that was destiny. It never did hold any judgements.
Staff placed the picture back into his pocket and folded his arms. The rain was refreshing and gave him a fresh outlook. He would let the girl get comfortable, slip into her bed and fall in to the land of nod, unaware of her fate. Then he would make his move.
But first, he would need to deal with the Professor. Staff removed a dagger from beneath his leather jacket and proceeded across the street. Somethings were worth getting paid to do.
